Born in Providence, she was the beloved wife of Paul G. Norato, a daughter of Steve Trigg and Constance (Gilreath) Viau, stepdaughter of Avis Trigg, cherished mother of Alexis McDonald, stepmother of Robert Norato and his wife Allison, sister to Sheri Trigg, Tracy Lamkin and Crystal Viau-Graham, grandmother of Samuel Norato, stepsister of Amanda Mojica and Elizabeth McCloud, and an aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Patty had worked as a school bus driver for the City of West Warwick and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Mickey Mouse. She was also known for her patience and love for babies and children.
Visitation will be held on Friday, 9:30-10:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Private burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Occupancy restrictions and social distancing will be observed.
