Dear MaryAnn, Joe, Paul and John and the rest of the family of Paul,
I am devastated to hear of the loss of your dad. To say I loved your dad is an understatement. Your family and mine shared so many wonderful times, we grew up together, our back yards abutting each other, and it was that closeness with your mom and dad and my parents that so many happy times were made. Our parents never missed a Saturday night going out together. I will never forget the devastation we all shared, especially your dad when your beautiful mom with that infectious laugh was taken from us so young, and I knew what devastation your dad experienced.
I would talk with your dad many times, he had a wonderful sense of humor, and sometimes as ill as he felt, he always made sure he left you happy.
I have lost so many people I loved, and this loss hits me just as hard as the others.
You’re dad was always a fighter, but he will forever be remembered as a wonderful husband, dad, grandfather and great grandfather. Nothing was more important to Paul than his family. He had a heart of gold and if you knew him, you were a better person for it.
I can remember as far back as the 60’s, and your dad taking us to the Milk Can up on Route 146, so you see your dad gave me happy memories stretching back a half a century.
So now your dad is in Heaven, with the love of his life, his beautiful Marie. I am sure Marie was there and met him to take him to that special place where parting and sorrow are no more. Our parents are all together again, reunited, always to have joy.
In closing I want to tell you all that Paul was a special part of my life for so many years, and what he loved the most was you his family.
I hope one day the void of Paul’s presence will be replaced with the happy memories he has left behind. God speed my friend.

My Uncle Paulie was one of a kind..a gem of a man who loved to laugh and enjoyed his family immensely. I have the best memories in the world of spending our summers in Rhode Island at auntie Marie and uncle Paulie’s, To the fun we had when you lived in Florida, and the crazy times you Phil and Uncle Dickie had...I know that there’s quite a party going on in heaven today, a reunion beyond words. Until we meet again I’ll Remember you always.
Love you Lucille
