

East Providence Paul A. Quinn, 63, of North Broadway, died Friday at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island, Pawtucket. He was the beloved husband of Margaret M. "Peggy" (DaCosta) Quinn. They were married forty-two years. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Hugh A. and Mildred R. (Laughlin) Quinn. Paul was a rigger for the Electric Boat Division of General Dynamics, at Quonset Point, for seventeen years before retiring. He served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, an avid New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan, and enjoyed visiting and spending time with his daughters in Lewes, Delaware. Beside his wife Peggy, he leaves a son, Paul A. Quinn, Jr. and his wife Susan; two daughters, Christine L. Quinn and Patricia A. Quinn; a brother, Richard J. Quinn; and a sister, Mildred F. Damas. He was a brother of the late Hugh A. Quinn, Jr. and James R. Quinn. The funeral will be held Tuesday, at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart Church, 100 Taunton Avenue, East Providence. Burial, with military honors, will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
