Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph and Ida (Castrignano) Silva; brother of Frank C., Joseph Jr., and John A. Silva, Maryann Ferrante, Angela Carbone, Linda Simmons, and Donna and Emma Silva, with whom he resided; uncle of 6 nieces, 2 great-nieces and 1 great-nephew.
Visitation will be held Sunday, 4-7 p.m. with a funeral service on Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Interment will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. www.pontarellimarinofunerals.com
