Regina E. Gomes, 56, of Elton Circle, Cranston, passed before her time on Sunday, January 23, 2022 in the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. She was the life partner of over 20 years to Eric C. Bergin.
Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Joseph Francis and Sylvia May ( Brown ) Gomes.
Regina was a very generous person who would give to someone in need even if she had nothing. A humble person, she loved her community but family were most important to her. She was the life of the party and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She will be missed by all that loved and knew her.
Besides her partner, Regina is survived by her children, Santiago M. Gomes of Smithfield, Dulce Gomes of Johnston, Alejandro J. Gomes of Providence, Allyiah Gomes of Cranston, her siblings, Michael Gomes of Providence, Joseph Gomes and Tina Marie Gomes both of Houston, TX. Her adoring grandchildren, Alexis Gomes, Gabriella Garcia-Gomes and Joel Gomes.
She was sister of the late Howard Gomes.
