Richard L. McCormack

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Eugene J. Sr. (Ret. PPD) and Mary (Garrein) McCormack. He was the loving husband of Joan Bouchard for 34 years. Cherished father of Richard L. McCormack, Kelly A. McCormack, Merrick S. McCormack (Dorian), Margaret P. McCormack (Steven), Jeff A. Bouchard (Helia) and Laura L. DeCosta (Wayne) and papa of Timmy, Alex, Taylor, Jazmine, Desmond, Mason and Chase. Brother of Eugene J. McCormack and Thomas L. McCormack (Ginny).

Richard was the owner and operator of McCormack’s Pub since 1961. He was a car enthusiast and enjoyed jazz music.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO HOME, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Edwards Church, 997 Branch Avenue, Providence, after which burial will follow in Saint Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Those attending the Mass of Christian Burial are asked to park in the rear parking lot of the church.
