ProvidenceRita M. Ryan, 89, of Chestnut Street, a sales lady at the former Outlet Company Department Store for thirty-five years, died Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. She was the wife of the late Matthew B. Ryan. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Ernest and Rose (Morin) Curry, she was a lifelong city resident. Rita is survived by her niece, Barbara McKenzie, of Buckfield, Maine, and several dear friends. She was a sister of the late Wilfred Curry and Lillian Daly. Committal prayers will be offered Friday morning at 10:00 am in the chapel of Saint Ann Cemetery, 73 Church Street, Cranston, to which relatives and friends are invited.
