

Bob is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jane (Feeney). Children; Kathleen Quirk of North Providence and Michael Quirk (Melanie) of East Providence, Granddaughters; Emerlyn Grace and Addison Helen Quirk. Sister; Maureen Stubbs of Warwick, Rhode Island, sisters in law; Janet Quirk and Christine Feeney, as well as many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Bob is predeceased by his parents; John and Helen ( McCaffrey ) Quirk, his in-laws; James and Helen Feeney, his brother; John “Jack “ Quirk, brothers in law; Donald Stubbs, James F Feeney and Brian Feeney and sister-in-law; Susan Feeney.
Bob was born on March 30, 1952 in Providence, RI. He was a graduate of St. Matthew’s School, Bishop Hendricken High School and Providence College with a degree in Political Science. Bob worked for Almacs Food Stores for 25 years, Bradley Cafe for 25 years and ended his career working as a clerk at Superior Court in Providence, RI for over 20 years. He was a member of unions Local 328 and Local 808.
After retirement, Bob enjoyed the simple things in life; reading a good book, watching Jeopardy and The History Channel, Saturday night dinners with his wife and most importantly being “Papa” to his two grandchildren.
Bob was a firm believer in giving, his organs will be donated to help save the lives of others.
Bob will be laid to rest Friday, October 13, 2023 at 8:45 am from the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 21 Traverse Street in Providence. Burial will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Wakefield, RI.
