Ronald Kent Andrews

October 22, 1956 – July 10, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ron Andrews, who left us on July 10, 2025, at the age of 68.

Born on October 22, 1956, Ron lived his life with a big heart and an even bigger presence. Known as the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back for those he cared for, Ron’s generosity and loyalty were felt by everyone lucky enough to know him. Above all, family was everything to him.

Early in his career, Ron was a proud member of the International Longshoremen’s Association (ILA), where he built lasting friendships and a reputation for hard work. In 1987, he founded Andrews and Sons Painting, dedicating himself to growing a business that reflected his work ethic and his commitment to providing for his family.

Ron is survived by his wife, Amanda Garcia; his mother, Lynn Nascimento; his four children, Ron Andrews Jr., Matt Andrews, Ashley Rebollo, and Katelyn James; and his cherished grandchildren: Matthew Andrews Jr., Tiana Andrews, Lily Andrews, Avery Rebollo, Chris Rebollo Jr., Danny James Jr., and Dahlia James.

Ron’s legacy lives on in the love he shared, the lessons he taught, and the family he so deeply valued.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Romano Funeral Home, 627 Union Avenue, Providence, RI.
