Rose A. Bonaminio

Rose A. (Ricci) Bonaminio, 94, of Providence, passed away on March 10, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.
She was the beloved wife of the late Albert C. Bonaminio Sr. for 72 years. She was the devoted mother of Janet M. Carrara (Donald), Alfred M. Bonaminio, Thomas P. Bonaminio (Gail) and the late Albert C. Bonaminio Jr., and cherished grandmother of Rachel Bonaminio and Frank Scaramuzzi and great-grandmother of Nicholas Scaramuzzi.
She was the sister of the late Alfred, Carlo, Vincent, Louis and Joseph Ricci, Sister Anna Ricci M.P.V., Lena Bernardo, Edith Palmisciano, Theresa Napolitano, Elisa Fascia and Mary Cantone. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Rose was a self-employed seamstress for many years and most recently worked in conjunction with her daughter Janet at Fabrications in Providence.
Rose loved to cook, to bake and to share traditional Sunday meals with her family. Her table was a place for family to gather and for love and good food to be shared. She was a devoted communicant of Saint Ann Church, Providence. She loved horses, and especially enjoyed dancing the night away with her late husband, Albert. Her most cherished legacy was her ability to raise children and she possessed the compassion, devotion, love, wit and strength of being an amazing mother and grandmother.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in Saint Ann’s Church. 280 Hawkins Street, Providence, followed by a concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00. Burial will follow in Saint Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Saint Ann’s Church.
