Canning-Cannon, Rose E. age 92 formerly of Smith St., passed away on February 24th at Harborside Health Care Center in Warwick. Born in County Leitrim, Ireland on July 9, 1915 a daughter of the late Patrick and Mary A.(MaGuire)Canning. Miss Cannon was a member of The Irish Ceilidhe Club of RI. She was the loving aunt of Mary Ann Canning-McComiskey of Lincoln, Geralyn Canning-Bergeron of Saunderstown RI and Thomas Canning of West Greenwich, She also leaves several other nieces and nephews in England and Ireland. She was the sister of the late Thomas, Francis, Patrick Canning and Bridget Lane. Her funeral will be held on WEDNESDAY at 9am from The RUSSELL J. BOYLE & SON Funeral Home 331 Smith St., PROVIDENCE, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick Church Smith St. Providence at 10am, Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Providence.
