Sandra J. Myers

Sandra J. Myers, 78, of North Providence, and formerly of Forbes Street, Providence, passed away Thursday morning at the Lincolnwood Rehabilitation Center. She was the beloved wife of William A. Myers, (Ret PFD) for the past fifty five years.

    Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Milton F. and Eleanor A. (Thomson) West, Sr.

    Sandra was a secretary for the State of Rhode Island, Department of Education for several years. A 1960 graduate of Saint Xavier Academy and a 1962 graduate of Johnson & Wales University, she was a communicant of Saint Augustine Church and a member of the parish Rosary & Altar Society.

    In addition to her husband Bill, she leaves two daughters, Sister Patrick Stephen Myers, O.P. of St. Cecilia Convent, Nashville, TN, and Christina E. McNeil and her husband John of North Providence, RI; two sons, Willian P. Myers and his wife Christina of North Providence RI, and Steven M. Myers of Fort Washington, MD. She also leaves six beloved grandchildren, Joseph and Christian Myers, Mary and Olivia McNeil and Eloise and Henry Myers.  She was predeceased by a brother, Milton F. West, Jr.

The funeral will be held Wednesday, at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in Saint Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours Tuesday, 4:00 - 7:00 pm.
