Sandra "Sandy" M. (Guarino) Raleigh, 61, of Cranston, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late Roy F. Raleigh. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of Louisa (Carosi) Guarino and the late Gerardo "Jerry" Guarino, Sr. Sandra was the beloved mother of Ryan and Taylor Raleigh and sister of Donna Dunn, Margherite Godbout and Gerardo "Jerry" Guarino Jr.
Sandra worked as an Administrative Assistant at Amerinet (Vector) which was located in the Rhode Island Blood Center for over 15 years. Sandra’s greatest joy was spending time with her children. Sandra was actively involved in her children’s lives and, even as a single parent, never missed a game or event. She was an avid book reader and loved watching the Yankees. Sandra will be greatly missed by her children, family and friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 11-12 pm in the Pontarelli-Marino Home, 971 Branch Ave, Providence, followed by a service at 12pm.
