Shirley Ann Durand

Shirley Ann Durand (DeFusco) age 63, of Ormond Beach, Florida formerly of Warren, RI, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. She was the beloved wife of Edmund Durand. They were married for 36 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Albert DeFusco, Sr. and the late Mary Barbara (Clark) DeFusco. Shirley worked as a caregiver for Comfort Keepers in Port Orange, FL. In her spare time, she loved crocheting, listening to her oldies music, and playing bingo. Besides her husband, she leaves behind two daughters, Mary Ann Jones, of Ormond Beach, FL, her former husband, Glenn Russell Jones, of Pueblo, CO and Pamela Ann Borges, and her fiancé, Ryan Hunt, of Holly Hill, FL; a step son, Richard Allen Durand, and his wife, Jennifer Rose Durand, of Ormond Beach, FL; eight grandchildren, Richard James Snyder, of North Providence, RI, April Marie Miller, of Holly Hill, FL, Jessica Lauren Thrift, of South Daytona, FL , Celine Marie Mello, of Warren, RI, Joseph Alan Borges and Angel Marie Borges, both of Holly Hill, FL, William Steven Durand and Christopher Michael Quattrini, both of Ormond Beach, FL; and two great-grandchildren, Aaliyah Rose Smith and Amarion Romeo Smith, of South Daytona, FL. She was the sister of the late Thomas Angelo DeFusco and Albert Edward DeFusco, both of Warren, RI. According to her wishes, funeral services will be private. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted.
