Shirley B. Landi

She was born in Westerly, Rhode Island, the daughter of the late Etta and John Kapinos, beloved mother of David Landi, Gail (Landi) Horbert, son-in-law Raymond Horbert Jr. and Michael Landi. Grandmother of Raymond III, Melanie, David Jr., Dustin, Victoria, and Julia and blessed with seven great grandchildren, Charlotte, Anthony, Ellie, Layna, Reagan, David III, and Vincent. She was the sister of Bobby Buck, Carl Buck, the late Betty Kapinos Caputo, Irene Buck Williamson, Alfred and Kenneth Buck. She was a loved sister-in-law of Hilda (Landi) Catalfamo and the late Americo, Flori, Amelia Landi, Anna (Landi) Soars, Elenore (Landi) Paolontonio and Theresa (Landi) Ribezzo.

Shirley worked in Jewelry Manufacturing in her early years and enjoyed cooking, crocheting, gardening, reading the bible and spending time with her family. She was an extremely devoted and involved mother and grandmother. She was a devout Catholic.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m in the Pontarelli-Marino Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Masks are encouraged. Burial will follow in Saint Ann Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Parkinson's Foundation, www.parkinson.org.
