A graduate of Portsmouth High School, he went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force and the National Guard. He received several commendations for his service during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He then worked as a firefighter, a job he loved, and he volunteered at Ground Zero on 9/11.
Services will be private.
