Theresa J. Gatta

She was the beloved wife of Antonio L. Gatta; daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Cedrone) Leonetti; devoted mother of Gail Boudreau and her husband Michael, Claudia Vincent and her husband Robert, and the late Donna Gatta; grandmother of Jason Boudreau and his wife Elizabeth, Joshua Boudreau and his wife Kerri, Jessica Gemma and her husband James, and Nicholas Vincent; great-grandmother of Abby, Haley, Allyssa, Ryan and Evan Boudreau; and sister of the late Anthony and Alberto Leonetti and Beatrice Silva. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Theresa was a talented seamstress and an excellent cook, however, her greatest joy was spending time with all of her family. Theresa and Tony were blessed to have celebrated 69 years of a beautiful marriage together.

Visitation will be held Sunday, 4-7 p.m. with her funeral Monday at 8 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. in the Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 1081 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 245 Waterman Street, Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906.
