Thomas E. Capraro Sr., 84, passed away August 14, 2021 surrounded by his loving wife & family. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth Capraro. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Frank and Rose (Gentile) Capraro. He was the father of 5 children; stepfather of Donna Manzi (John DiSumma), Debra Williams (the late Owen), Steven Scullion (Cathryn), Dee Comella, and William Scullion (Denise); brother of Lillian DiMaio, Anna Galucci, and the late Frank Capraro, Viola Langley, Marie Capraro, and Gladys Malen; grandfather and great-grandfather of several.
He was the owner and operator of Capraro Catering and after retiring from his company, worked at the Village at Waterman Lake.
He was an avid golfer and loved the ocean. He also liked watching old western movies, snacking on cashews and spending time with his special grandson Dean.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Thomas Catholic Church, 65 Fruit Hill Ave, Providence. Burial will be private. Please omit flowers.
