Timothy John Catterson

Timothy J. Catterson, 58, of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the Rhode Island Hospital.Born in Providence, he was a son of the late George F. Catterson., Jr. and Margaret-Mary (McElroy) Catterson-Rush, and step son of the late Edward F. Rush, Sr.Tim worked as a courier for many years. An avid golfer, he enjoyed reading, and watching the TV game show "Jeopardy" and was quite the skilled armchair participant. He was also a fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.He is survived by his siblings, Terrance and Daniel Catterson, Edward F. "Ted" and David J. Rush, Kathleen Catterson, Jeanne Stanton, Margaret-Mary "Mickey" Catterson, Mary-Beth Tsiokas and Stephanie Catterson-McCaffrey; and beloved Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Tim was the brother of the late George, Scott, and Christopher Catterson, and Maureen Stehle.Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 10:00 am, in Saint Pius V. Church, Eaton Street, Providence. Burial will be private and visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
