Providence Tracy Ann Shields, 54, of Providence, died Friday evening surrounded by her loving family. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of Paul K. Shields and the late Margaret (Murphy) Shields. Tracy recently retired as a secretary for the State of Rhode Island, Department of Transportation, where she had worked for the past thirty years. She was a graduate of Providence College. In addition to her father Paul, she leaves two brothers, Paul B. Shields and G. Patrick Shields; and a sister, Coleen M. Shields. Committal prayers will be offered for the repose of her soul on Thursday, at 12:00 noon, in the Chapel of Saint Ann Cemetery, Church Street, Cranston, to which relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Arrangements entrusted to Russell J. Boyle & Son.
