Cranston William J.Calise, 52, of Massasoit Avenue, died peacefully Wednesday evening, April 16, 2014, at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Providence, he was a son of Albert and Janice (Williams) Calise of Cranston. In addition to his parents, he leaves two daughters, Toni Marie Mercer and Stephanie Lynn Aquino; two brothers, David Calise and Albert Calise, Jr.; and two sisters, Denise Calise and Michele Calise. Billy was employed as a truck driver for Cardi Furniture Company for the past several years, before illness. He also served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, at 10:00 am, in Saint Paul Church, One St Paul Place, Cranston, to which relatives and friends are invited. Burial, with military honors, will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
