Born in Providence he was the son of the late William J. and Geraldine Marie ( Dollmont ) Kelvey, Sr.
Mr. Kelvey was a graduate of LaSalle Academy, Providence and was a steel worker for Capco Steel in Providence.
Mr. Kelvey is also survived by Nancy Jane ( Chase ) Kelvey, a son, Matthew W. Kelvey, and William's children, Adam M. Kelvey and Jarred W. Kelvey.
William leaves his brother John J. Kelvey, sisters Donna M. Henriksen, Lori A. Christiansen, Cheryl A. Duhamel, Lisa M. Kelvey and Wen E. Gordon. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
William was father of the late Shawn M. Kelvey, Sr.
A walk through wake will be held Monday, March 8, 2021 from 11:00-1:00 pm with a Funeral Service at 1:00 pm in the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence.
