

Born on April 14, 1928 in Providence, he was the son of the late Antonio and Maria (Taccone) Pace. He was the beloved husband of Rita (Pate) Pace. Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving daughter Denise Sergiacomi and her husband Paul, his loving daughter Linda Doorley, and his grandchildren Anthony Sergiacomi and his wife Jessica, Nicholas Sergiacomi, Jeannine Sousa and her husband Joshua, and Amanda Lynn Doorley.
Billy was a student of the Rhode Island School of Design. He was the co-owner and operator of Pace Engraving/Pace Enterprise alongside his beloved nephew Ronnie Pace. He spent his retired years playing golf, hanging with his good friends, and making others smile. Billy will be remembered for his outgoing personality, great sense of humor, and for the love of his family.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 17, 2017 from 9-10:30 a.m. in the Pontarelli-Marino Funeral Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, 1 Rhode Island Avenue, Johnston. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Rhode Island Chapter, 245 Waterman Street, Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906.
