

Wayne, William D. "Don", 65, of Providence, a very beloved man, passed away on January 18, 2009 at his home. Born in Newport, he was the son of the late Arnold and Carrie(Williams)Wayne. He was the life long companion of Marsha(Price)Hall. Mr. Wayne was a 1961 Graduate of Rogers High School, and was also a star football player. He attended Johnson & Whales University and also served his country during the Vietnam War with the USMC. He was employed by the Dept. of Employment Security (D.E.S) for 11 years; he was also employed as an Armed Security Officer for the Federal Courthouse in Providence, as well as Head of Security for both the Turks Head Bldg. and Fleet Bldg. in Providence until his retirement. He is survived by his loving children, Dezirae L. Hall, William D. Antone, Stepdaughters Dawne (Hall) Johnson and Dana L. Hall, all of Providence. He was the Loving brother of Robert G. Wayne of CA, Pamela Woodson of Virginia, Grace Dore and Estella Miller both of RI. He is also the father of the late Wayne Brown, and step father of the late Terrence "Foots" Hall. He has 12 Grandchildren, 5 Great-Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. DON LOVED EVERYONE, AND EVERYONE SURELY LOVED DON! Visitation will be held, MONDAY at 9am in The RUSSELL J.
