Adam Paul Jolie was born February 4, 1969 and received his wings to heaven February 25, 2020. He was preceded in death by his adoptive father Arthur Jolie, and guardian father Michael Adams. He is survived by his guardian mother Laura Sandoval-Adams, friend John Walker, and many friends and family who will miss him greatly. Adam was blessed with the services and care from Bethesda Lutheran Communities for 31 years. He enjoyed day program at Faith Village in Kansas, continuing when he moved to Colorado in 2014. Special Olympics, summer camping, Night to Shine proms and outings kept Adam the social butterfly. Adam enjoyed music, burgers, pizza, and a bottomless beverage cup. He loved girls, and holding their hands was his joy. He loved their scrunchies, hair ties, and stuffed animals. He blessed the lives of those around him with his silliness. Always the joker, he loved to make others smile. Sherman House manager DJ and his caregivers kept him stylish, well fed, handsome and happy. Adam lived life to the fullest due to the care and ingenuity of Bethesda Lutheran staff. His phrases will shine on as we have adopted them into our own vocabulary. To know Adam was to love him.
