

Albert Edward Graff Jr., 88, passed away January 12, 2025, in Pueblo, Colorado. He was born May 7, 1936 in Long Beach, California to Albert and Ruth Graff. Al graduated from Santa Ana High School in California, and attended Chapman University in Orange, California. During this time, he married Sharon Pate, and they had three sons: Phil, Brad, and Matt. Al also attended the University of Chicago, and had two Master’s Degrees in Religion and Clinical Social Work. Using these degrees, Al was a pastor for several years in Illinois, and worked in administration in with two mental health facilities. Al eventually took a job as an Insurance Agent with State Farm Insurance Company, and retired after several years of dedicated service.
Al enjoyed gardening, traveling, reading, running, and walking later in life. He often told stories of hitchhiking to the beach in California – he just had to get there!
Al is survived by his children Phil (Becky), Brad (Shae), Matt, and Joe (Aaliyah); grandchildren Clayton, Curtis, Kenneth, Ben, Erin, and Matalyn; three great grandchildren; his sister Ruthann, brother John, as well as several other family members and friends.
He was preceded in passing by his parents Albert and Ruth, his first wife Sharon, and second wife Daphyne.
A memorial service will be held Friday, January 31, 2025 at 1pm at Imperial Funeral Home Chapel, 5450 Highway 78 West, Pueblo, Colorado.
