Arthur Iven Herlyck

Art was preceded in death by his wife Billie Mae Herlyck; his parents Angus William Herlyck and Mabel Effie (Fulmer) Herlyck; his siblings Viola DiSalvo, Opal Wright, Mabel Murdoch, Angus Herlyck, Lester Herlyck, Elva Puckett, Jewell Loomis, and Ethel Greenland.

Art is survived by his daughter Peggy (Tim) East and sons Greg (Judy) Herlyck and Jason (Melissa) Herlyck; grandchildren Wade (Michelle) East, Patrick East, Cori (Scott) Flieger, Amber Looker, Tom Herlyck, Zach (Mary) Herlyck, Jayme (Jim) Riddell and James (CarylMay) Herlyck; great grandchildren Bonnie (James) Lopez, Stacy (Lucas) Gamma, Andrew, Jarrod, and Maeghan Looker, Ivan and Ethan Herlyck, Aislynn, Aiden, and Aramis Riddell, Laila and Ezra Herlyck.

Art enjoyed building things: houses, barns, anything with a saw in one hand and a hammer in the other. He served during WWII in the US Navy and retired from the CF&I. He and Billie enjoyed traveling, usually with their truck and camper. On one of these trips they discovered a need to help people, and to spread the gospel. Therefore, Feed My Sheep Mission was established. What an exciting life he led, he will be deeply missed by so many.

The family would like to give special thanks to First Light home care, Brookdale Assisted Living, and The Joni Fair Hospice House, as well as special friends Tanya Bauman and Janice Parker.

In lieu of flowers and food, donations may be made to Sangre De Cristo Community Care and Joni Fair Hospice House.

Funeral service, Wednesday January 15, 2023 at 1pm at TG McCarthy Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Imperial Memorial Gardens. The family will host a reception at Mesa Bible Church, 702 S. Main. Please use the Corona Street Door.
