Barbara Melonas, 87, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025.

​Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved parents, George and Beatrice Ibbunson; her cherished son-in-law, Jim McHenry; and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

​She is survived by her devoted husband of 66 years, Bill Melonas, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, commitment, and cherished memories. She leaves behind her loving children: Teresa, Leslie (Jim), and David. Barbara is also survived by her dear sister, Joyce (Mike), and her niece, Mandy (Wayne).

​She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Candice (Jason) and Stephen (Chelsea), and a treasured great-grandmother to Aiden, Makenzie, and Josselyn, all of whom brought her endless joy.

​Barbara will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her strength, and the warmth she brought to everyone who knew her. Her legacy lives on through the generations she nurtured and the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

​In accordance with Barbara’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no viewing will be held. Family and friends will gather to honor and celebrate her life at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 19, 2026, at Imperial Chapel. The service will be conducted by Richard Hijar.

A memorial service will be held at Imperial Funeral Home, located at 5450 Highway 78 West, Pueblo, CO 81005, on January 19, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. A luncheon reception will follow at the same location from 2:45 pm to 4:45 pm.
