Bobbie Lee Laursen, 87, departed this life and became present with the LORD on 28 November, 2018. She is survived by her husband, Otto D. Laursen, her son Joseph H. Ciruli Jr., daughter-in-law Marcia S. Ciruli; grandchildren Jeffrey Paul Ciruli, Michelle Lee Doctoroff, and Michael Joseph Ciruli; and great grandchildren Kennady Ciruli, Jolie Doctoroff, Rylan Ciruli and Brynlee Ciruli. Bobbie was the last of her immediate family members to depart this life, having been born to parents Archie Turl Hamm and Hazel Luemma Hamm (nee Cross and Beloit), in Brighton, Missouri on 16 July, 1931. Bobbie had nine siblings, two of which died as infants, four brothers: George Hamm, Rex Hamm, Elmer Hamm and James Hamm, and three sisters: Katheryn White, Patricia Horn, and Aline deGolier. Bobbie was a faithful wife, mother and grandmother, fulfilling her charge to be a faithful witness and helper to her husband, and a faithful witness of the LORD Jesus Christ to her only child and daughter-in-law, her grandchildren, great grandchildren and others that were set in her path by the LORD. Bobbie was especially grieved at the recent passing of her great grandson Joey Ciruli at age 16, who was a prominent example to us all of the cheerfulness and kindness that can be shown by an individual, even in the midst of great suffering. Bobbie attended Centennial High School to the eleventh grade and subsequently received a diploma by GED. She was previously married to Joseph H. Ciruli Sr., who was father to their son Joseph H. Ciruli Jr. She was married to her husband Otto for 55 years, the two having met and married in 1963 while working at the Pueblo Army Depot in the Army Special Weapons Division. At that time she was an employee of the Federal government as a Budget Analyst, and was later employed in several other Federal clerical positions while Otto was on unaccompanied combat tours of duty. Bobbie was a strong and true Christian and a faithful Army wife, accompanying and supporting her husband Otto on many military assignments, including two in overseas areas (Germany and Hawaii). While in Germany, Bobbie worked as a Red Cross helper in an Army hospital near Pirmasens, and as a medical assistant for the care of small children in a military dispensary in Darmstadt. Her favorite place to live in all of these military assignments was Hawaii. After her husband retired from the Army in 1980, Bobbie then accompanied and supported him on many hazardous materials and environmental compliance assignments in Oklahoma, Ohio, New Mexico and Colorado. Bobbie and Otto finally retired completely soon after moving back to Pueblo in April 2009, having lived here for the past 9+ years. During this period, they spent a great deal of their time in devoting themselves to a fuller in-depth understanding of GOD’s Word as revealed in the Holy Scriptures and developing an even deeper personal relationship with their Father GOD and His Son our Savior, the LORD Jesus Christ. Bobbie and Otto had previously been members of Baptist Churches, but in these latter years they left the realm of denominations and adhered only to a non-denominational following of the LORD Jesus Christ. According to the Word of GOD, Bobbie is now separated from her material body, and her soul and spirit are in the immediate presence of the LORD (Father and Son) via His promise and the power of His Holy Spirit to bring us to Himself. It is with great joy and excitement that we await the resurrection of the saints when we all as His sons and daughters will receive new spiritual bodies and exist together with Him in all eternity. There will be no formal service, but Bobbie’s body will be available for public viewing at T. G. McCarthy funeral home, 329 Goodnight Avenue, Pueblo, Colorado 81004 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, 3 December, 2018. Thereafter, her body will be transported to the National Cemetery at Fort Logan, Colorado for burial. There will be no graveside service. Many thanks to all of the gracious doctors, nurses, and other helpers that have cared for Bobbie during these last days at the Parkview Hospital, the Center at Park West, University Park Care Center, Sangre de Cristo Hospice, and the Joni Fair Hospice House in Pueblo. May GOD bless you all for your loving care and kindness that you shared with Bobbie in these last moments of her earthly life. Bobbie Lee was greatly loved and so very precious to her husband and so many others of us, and she will be greatly missed. "Precious in the eyes of the LORD is the death of His saints." (Psalm 116:15).
