

Carolyn Marie Parr went to be with the Lord on February 22, 2026. Born July 23, 1932, in Saguache, Colorado. Carolyn grew up in Pueblo, Colorado, where she built a life defined by devoted love and creative spirit.
Carolyn attended Central High School where she graduated in 1950, and met her future husband, Edwin Leo Parr Jr. They were married on December 18, 1951, and shared 61 happy years of marriage before his passing. Carolyn was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Carolyn loved spending time with her family in the mountains and enjoyed nature hikes. She was artistic and expressed her talent through photography, earning an honorable mention in the Fine Arts division of the Colorado State Fair. Carolyn was also creative with sewing, making many outfits, dresses, gowns, and costumes for her daughters. She found joy in working in her flower gardens and putting all the produce up of her husband's large vegetable garden.
Carolyn is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren: Jacquelyn Richards; Kelley (Frank) Sagona, Rickey, Jackson, Charlie, and Samantha; Danny (Crystal) Richards, Connor (Dec), Hannah, and Natalie, David Richards and Kinsley; Suzanne Taylor; Stephanie (Eli) Solano, Elijah and Kade; Deborah (Joe) Jesik, Andrew Jesik, Lynne (Chris) Rice, Corey and Connor, Kimberly Jesik, Emma and Mia. She is also survived by her siblings: Jerry (Ann) Cummings, Dr. Ronald (Christina) Coffey, Beverly LaRance, and Chuck Jenne.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her dear husband, Edwin L. Parr Jr.; her parents, Frank T. and Mamie Lou (Gibson) Bone; and several siblings.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Château at Sharmar for all their care and support. Donations may be made in Carolyn’s name to the Pueblo Child Advocacy Center and Sangre de Cristo Hospice.
