I’m one of Cecil’s cousins and I only found out that he left this world several days late for me to come meet his family and wish him bon voyage. I was looking forward to talking with him, after we moved back to Pueblo later this month, and sharing memories.
He will live on in our memories.
Blessings on the family and may all our prayers help you through this time of grief and loss.

Although you probably do not know me, I married Chuck Highline about 18 years ago and he was Cecil's cousin. Chuck passed away last March 4th after many years with dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
I am sorry for your loss and just felt a connection when I saw it in the newspaper.
Wishing you the comfort of God's grace and love.

On behalf of the Serna family, I would like to give my condolences. Although I didn’t know Mr. Highline very well, I did know his wife and daughters. My mother, Marcella, as well as my sisters, Valerie and Veronica were very fond of your family. Mom and all three of us girls would like to make contact with you three girls to catch up on old times.

To the family of Cecil:

Even though I only knew Cecil for a short time, he was always so sweet, kind towards others, encouraging, and optimistic. Cecil and I had a few heart to hearts, and I will never forget him. Thank you for sharing him with us over his last few months.

Katie (one of Cecil’s therapists at RW)
