

Charles L. Erickson passed away July 8, 2011. Charles is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Erickson; children, Carol (Joe) Anderson, Joan (Allen) Spencer, Ellen (Tim) Kruglet, John (Teresa) Erickson, Jean (Tim) Bonack and Dale Erickson; six grandchildren, Kristi, Beth, Kevin, Bryan, Kristi and Max.
Charles graduated from Central High School, Pueblo, Colorado in 1942. He worked as a roll turner at the CF&I Steel Mill for 41 Years, retiring in 1986. Charles loyally served his country in the Army Air Corps during WWII for 3 years.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and he was an avid baseball, football and tennis fan. He and his wife travelled to Wimbledon twice to observe his favorite athletes.
He served on the Colorado State Housing Board and as a grievance representative at the CF & I Steel Mill. He was actively involved in Christ the King King Church, participating as an usher and reader. He was also a member of the Norcturnal Adoration Society.
Charles was a very proud father of six children and enjoyed observing their many school and sports activities. He was also the grandfather of six grandchildren, three girls and 3 boys.
He will be greatly missed!
