

Charles F. Pullara passed away on November 28, 2010 after a long battle with Leukemia. He was born in Pueblo, CO on April 29, 1941. He was a long time farmer, trucker, bartender, cattleman, and produce salesman. Charlie was recognized far and wide, including Salida, Alamosa and Raton, NM as “the produce man with the blue truck and orange trailer.” He was a kind and generous man, many times donating produce to senior homes, soup kitchens and churches. He was a loving husband, father, grandpa and friend to many. Charlie is preceded in death by his parents Doris and Charles Pullara; mother-in-law, Grace Prutch and sister-in-law, Linda Prutch-Hayes. He survived by his wife of 45 years, Carol; daughters, Cheri Pullara (fiancé Brandon Curless), Lori (Brett) Mooring, Traci (Frank) Daurio; grandsons, Mason, Casey, Brady, Johnny Mooring; siblings, Dorothy (Glen) Caple, Gary (Jimmie Sue) Pullara, Frances (Warren) Fox; brother-in-law, Phil Prutch; father-in-law, Phillip Prutch and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Charles F. Pullara was a truly unique man who always had something memorable to say. He will be greatly missed by all.
