Clarence "Bernard" Lewis, age 88, passed away Dec. 9, 2020. He was born March 14, 1932, in Pueblo, Colo., to Ina and Clarence Lewis. Preceded in death by parents; daughter, Sherri Paulsen; and son Bernard, "Pinky" Lewis; and numerous brothers and sisters. Left behind to cherish his memories is his wife, Nellie Lewis; children, Tami Gerlock, Brenda (Art) Smith, Rick Lewis; grandchildren, Troy Buckholz, Cassie De Arman, Melanie Hughes, Malisa Paulsen, Carrie Cornwell, Kym Van Leuven, Clint Gerlock, Greg Gerlock, Bobby Gerlock, Brandi Madril, Art Smith, Christopher Lewis, Tawnya Lewis and Melanie Hetrick; 23 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren; siblings, Kenneth (Carrie) Lewis and Gary (Carolyn) Lewis, sister-in-law, Janice Lewis. Bernard retired from CF&I and moved to Florence, Ariz., where he continued to work and carry out his passion of purchasing rental properties. A gathering will take place at Imperial Memorial Gardens Cemetery 1 p.m. followed by a public Celebration of Life at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 5, at Steel City Eagles 704 Elmhurst Pueblo, CO 81004.
