
Corina Lujan was born on March 26, 1926. She went with her Lord and Savior on May 26, 2013, after a lengthy illness. Corina is survived by her devoted husband of 70 years, Feliberto Lujan. She is also survived by her loving and dedicated children, Virginia Lujan, Dorothy VanBuskirk, Jerry (Jane) Lujan, Leonor Lujan, Jesse (Kathy) Lujan, Gloria (Sam Guerrero, Jr.) and Daniel Lujan. Her grandchildren include Derek Lujan, Daphne (Steve) Miller, Jennifer (Anthony) Castro, Israel Lujan, J.C. (Krystal) Lujan, Matthew (Dee) VanBuskirk and extended family, and Kristy VanBuskirk. Her great-grandchildren are Orion Miller, Demitrius Miller, Darian, Logan and Marlo Castro, Sarah Lujan, Caleb VanBuskirk, Noah Lujan, Nathan Lujan, Kingston Lujan and Robert Zane Stearns Lujan. Corina is also survived by her brothers, Manuel and Felix DeHerrera; and sisters, Antonia Muniz and Sophia Archuleta; and numerous relatives and friends. Corina was a staunch supporter of the St. Jude’s Research Hospital, the American Cancer Society, Easter Seals; Cerebral Palsy Association, Feed the Children Fund, March of Dimes, Muscular Dystrophy, the Bishop’s Development Fund; and was an active member of the PTO. Private viewing for family members only. Funeral Mass, 10 a.m., Thursday, May 30, 2013, at Holy Rosary Parish. Interment will follow at Imperial Memorial Gardens. The family requests that family and friends wear red (symbolizing love). Special thanks to Dr. Harry Keefe for his compassionate, personal and loving care throughout the years.
