Doris Katherine Lindvay

Doris Katherine Lindvay, 92, of Pueblo, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018. Doris was born May 18, 1926. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, John A. Lindvay; brother-in-law, Steve Lindvay; siblings, Mike Gregorich, Andy Gregorich, Tony Gregorich, Frances Grebence, Marge Butkovich, Rose Prijatel, Georgia Fogarty, Helen Rozich, and Ann Kartak. Doris loved to garden, and dedicated her life to the church and her family. She especially loved her grandchildren and didn't miss a moment in their lives. She sold Avon for 44 years and won numerous awards. She was the best potica maker there ever was! Doris and John were expert dancers, especially to Polkas and Waltzes. She is survived by children, Karen (Steve, deceased) Laveirge, Kathleen Lindvay, and Janie (Fred) Caligaris; grandchildren, Jill Stringer, Douglas (Tanya) Brooks, Mitchell Brooks, Natalie (David Singer) Caligaris, and Vincent (Stevee Ann Hammond) Caligaris; great-grandchildren, Ryley Stringer, Teagan Chavez, Demery Chavez, and Madison Brooks. She is also survived by sister-in-law, Gwen Lindvay; brother-in-law, Norbert Kartak, "Auntie Betty" Conder; and son-in-law, Scott Brooks; and numerous nieces and nephews. A rosary will take place on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 1:30pm with her Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 2pm at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church with entombment at Roselawn Cemetery.
