

Fern Darling Coleman, 97, passed away November 9, 2012. She was preceded in passing by her husband, Robert Coleman, and eldest son, James Coleman. She is survived by her sons, Thomas Coleman, Peter (Nettie) Coleman; grandchildren, Jeremy Campbell, Jeremy Coleman and Emilie (Solomon) Johnson, all of Pueblo; great-grandchildren, George Sullivan, Solomon Johnson II, Domonic Gallegos and Sarah Campbell ; numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. Fern served as a nurse in the Philippines during WWII; and was a devoted homemaker and mother. She enjoyed the mountains, collecting spoons and dolls, and Denver Bronco Football. The family would like to thank her special friends who helped and supported her in her waning years: Cheryl (housekeeper), Jo Marie (nurse), and all her friends at the church, especially Pat Berens, Irene Mishmash and Mary Smith, who would visit her and bring her food and companionship. Special thanks to Nettie Coleman, who was her special caregiver and friend. Memorial Services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, November 16, 2012, at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
