So sorry to hear about Frolian. We had  a group of 6 friends who celebrated August birthdays. We would get together and have the time of our lives. Eat, some of us drink and laugh. Joe is blind and Frolian had little vision, they talked about the times they spent in Tucson  at the rehab for  blind veterans. To the family our condolences  and  prayers. May Gods Holy Spirit enter their hearts and give them comfort at this sad time. Frolian we love you and R.I.P.

My Mr. Sanchez,  I’m sadden to hear of your loss and sadden that now I have to watch  “Andy Griffith “ by myself.  I knew you when I was a little girl going to Bessemer School with Carol. You were always so happy and laughing and when you came to Brookdale  I was happy again to have you in my life. A man full of joy and very set in your own ways. What a joy to see that smile when your family came in to see you.  I know God has a special place for you in Heaven and I will see you when it’s my time.

In my previous message, I forgot to include another one of Froilan's favorite songs, "You Are My Sunshine", which he would also sing in the microphone.   Except, whenever Froilan sang it, he would sing, "You Are My SANCHEZ", which always got a smile and laugh out of everyone in the facility.  Thank You, Froilan, for always bringing a smile to everyone's face!   :-D

TO THE FAMILY OF FROILAN SANCHEZ: 
My heart is TRULY broken today, as I saw Froilan's picture and name in our local newspaper obituaries.    I can't stop my tears from falling and I'm really in disbelief that my dear friend, Froilan has passed away.
   I am a local singer, who performs at all of the Assisted Living facilities in Pueblo monthly.   I met Froilan at Brookdale, and we became very close friends.  The Covid-19 pandemic has made it impossible for me to visit all of my friends in the assisted living facilities in Pueblo, so I haven't been able to see anyone since March.   Each time I sang at Brookdale, I made sure I sang Froilan's 2 favorite songs,  "Tu, Solo Tu" and "Rum And Coca Cola", which Froilan called, 'The Yankee Dollar'.   I always made it a point to give my microphone to Froilan and let HIM sing "Tu, Solo Tu" because it made him so happy and he sang so beautifully.   It always brought a huge smile to my face as I watched the other residents enjoying his performance and applauding for him whenever he sang in the microphone.   Froilan was such a wonderful man, who never let me leave Brookdale without giving me a big hug and kiss on my cheek, saying, "I love your singing! Te quiero mucho, mija, Vaya con Dios y, quidate bien".  I would answer, "Te Quiero mucho tambien, Froilan."   I believed Froilan really meant it when he said those words to me. 
It was easy to love him, because he was so kind and genuine.         It warmed my heart each time I saw Froilan either at Brookdale or Innovage, and I looked SO forward to singing with him and giving him my mic!   I will NEVER forget Froilan and the genuine love he showed me, and I will TRULY miss him always.   Please know that I will keep all of you in my prayers and thoughts during this difficult time.   Rest In Peace, my Dear friend.  I will think about you every day and miss you always.   Nos vemos...Te Quiero Mucho, amigo mio.  Vaya Con Dios.   

I’m sorry to hear of his passing. I will always hear “You are my Sanchez” in my head when I sing “You are My Sunshine.”
