With every adventure he encountered he lived it to the fullest, never backed down from a good time! George had an extreme life that most could only imagine, from being a Marine in the Korean War, to his bulldogging rodeo days, being a rodeo clown and the passion he lived out with bull riding. He hung that lifestyle up in 1971 and went onto being owner of the Columbine Inn Bar (first bar in Pueblo to have cage dancing & Go Go girls), racing dirt bikes, owning collector famous cars to then of course with his lifestyle change as he went to the extreme of speed boats & jet skis, while having several construction companies in California. George was always the life of the gathering up until his last days. He always had to have the last joke, he would listen to anything you wanted to talk whether he knew what you were talking about or not and if he couldn't relate to you, you would hear his famous saying that will be missed "I've never heard of that a day of my life.” George was very competitive, always had the win attitude and pushed all to strive to be the best and nothing less. Throughout life George was a huge part of park and swaps (flea markets) from selling tools to odds and ends, he definitely knew how to make a living out of a hobby. George will be sadly missed daily but he would not want anyone to be sad long due to him living life to the fullest up until the last days.
Final Farewells will be held December 3rd at 2:00pm at TG McCarthy Chapel, 329 Goodnight Ave, Pueblo CO 81004.
