Greg,

I sure do miss you. I doubt I’ll meet another man on this earth like you. I wish I could have told you just how much you meant to me when you were still here to hear it. Your belief in me and loving me like I was your own child got me through some very challenging times. You always told me “see, KJ, if you just look, you’ll see the light at the end of the tunnel, at the end of the hard work you’ve done.” 

Thank you eternally for showing me there are and were good men in this world. I’m doing my best to take care of everyone. Thank you for always watching over.

I have been out of Colorado for several years and am deeply saddened to hear of the loss of this incredible man. He was a kind and gentle spirit.  When I was a beginning teacher, he provided the mentorship and support I greatly needed.

It’s been two years and we still miss you like it was yesterday. Greg had and still has a profound impact on my life. He was the father I never had. A loving and kind spirit full of wisdom and more factoids than I’ll probably ever learn. I hope I’m making you proud. ❤️❤️❤️

We had just spoken at the gym I kind of interrupted your work out... I’m glad I did. We caught up so much... you still had so much knowledge to give me even now at 36... I could’ve talked to you for hours like I did in your office almost 20 years ago... Sometimes I think I’d get on your nerves but you never let it show. Thank You so much for just being you... God Bless and God Speed on your new journey!!!!! 

Greg, was an amazing person to work with at Corwin Middle School.  He was a great leader but more importantly an understanding, kind, ethical man.  It was an honor to work for this man.  My prayers and thoughts are with you all.

Greg was such a kind man; the type of person who would always ask about your kids and how work was going.  He cared deeply about people.  My sincere condolences to the Millard family.  

Greg and I were neighbors living just across the alley for many many years.  He was a very nice person, always polite, and we all loved playing kick the can in the alley and baseball in our backyard. So sorry to hear of his passing, may you all find peace and blessings to you all.RIP Greg

Greg, when i texted you To meet for coffee at Starbucks the morning of Feb. 7h. I was not prepared to hear we would not have Coffee again here.   ☹ Save me a cushy chair in Heaven buddy. Greg was an inspiration to me as a fellow administrator.  He was insightful and supportive.  I will miss Greg as he touched my life in so many positive ways. God bless you and your family.

I was a fellow counselor with Greg in District 60.  We got to know one another on a Dist. 60 counselor’s  trip to Camp Pendleton many years ago.  What a fine, gentle, kind man I found him to be.  My condolences to his family.  May he Rest In Peace.

John & Becky were my students and Jan was my nurse and my bridge partner. 
I can only imagine what a great guy Greg was and offer prayers that his family feels the love of community and the grace of God as they come together in grief to celebrate a life.

I knew Pat and Greg for many years as fellow teachers at Manzanola. Greg was always thoughtful and kind and always had a smile on his face. I never saw him angry or upset. He and Pat made the perfect couple and I know he had a wonderful and happy married life. He will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him! My love and prayers to all of the family.


I knew Greg and Pat through my brother, Matthew, but I would also wait on them when they would come into Pass Key. Greg always always always had a smile on his face and a kind word. He never forgot anything about myself and always encouraged me to continue pursuing my dreams in the education field. He was sunshine on a dark day and he will truly be missed. 

Condolences to the family of Greg. Wonderful person to know. I first Met Greg and Pat working at Eagleridge Starbucks. They have became family which are our regulars. Sending Lots of hugs and prayers to you Pat. It was always a pleasant to talk to him. Especially when he knew i was having a rough or a long day. Always had great advice and knew what to say.

Greg was my science teacher in high school. I took biology, chemistry and physics. Later in life our paths crossed and he was teaching Student Driving. Teaching was his life, he touched a lot of people and will be sadly missed. Rest well Greg

Greg was more than 'my fiance's dad' he was my dad too and he made sure that I knew it. He welcomed me into his family  and made me feel like I'd always belonged here. He was and always will be a pillar of support in my life that could never be replaced. He was an amazing father and the kindest, funniest, most compassionate, and truly generous man I have ever been lucky enough to know. He will be missed more than words can say.

Having spent quite a bit of time over at the Millard house. Greg was always welcoming and fun to talk to. He genuinely wanted the best for everyone that crossed his path. He was fun to talk to and he would always remember little details about you even if it had been awhile.  
The world lost not only an amazing father and husband. But an amazing person. He will definitely be missed. 

Mr. Millard was always so welcoming whenever I would come over to the Millard house. He loved his family so much. He was a wonderful father and will be missed by so many.

Greg was my mentor when I decided I wanted to go into leadership. He hired me as a principal for summer school. He was my first mentor. He taught me so much and I couldn’t be more proud than to follow on his footsteps. He was a very kind and gentle man that knew how to build relationships with at risk kids. I learned so much from him and I am blessed that he believed in me. I love my down the street neighbor, mentor, and friend .  Thank you Greg for showing me my true path in leadership.... I hope I am half the principal you were! 

I have so many great memories of high school and most of them include Greg. I was his lab assistant and he helped me find my love for photography.  He was a wonderful teacher and gentleman 

He was my dad. I never thought my heart could be this empty before.

I always enjoyed calling Greg when I was driving home from LaJunta. We would spend an hour talking about everything under the sun. That would get me almost halfway home before the phone service got to bad to understand each other. I will miss those calls. I will miss him.

Mr. Millard was an Amazing human being. He was more than my science teacher. He gave me the opportunity to better myself as a soldier and human being. I hope he realized how much I truly appreciate all he's ever done for me. You will truly be missed. I know in Heaven all your graces
 will surely flower.

I had Mr. Millard for chemistry his first year at Manzanola.   He was one of my favorite teachers and I always enjoyed  visiting with him after I left Manzanola.  My prayers are for his family to find comfort during this difficult time. 

Mr. Millard was my favorite teacher in highschool.  Always so kind. So sorry to hear of his passing. My best to his family. You all are in my prayers

He was an incredible man so full of life! 
I'll never forget the countless mornings traveling to and from school with sarah in the jeep or the countless random conversations and laughs. There was a time I spent ALOT of time in the family home. The kindness and compassion that Greg and Pat have always shown me has left an invaluable impact on me.  

He is truly missed!! 

Greg was the friendliest man on the block waving as people drove by' having conversations with neighbors, walkers. Always helping  someone in need. A man who made a difference  in so many lives. Where lives pass, memories carry on forever.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Pat Millard; children Sarah (Katrina Bergfalk) Millard, Mark (Erin Shear) Millard, Jason (Chrissy) Millard, and Laura (Angel) Ramirez; grandchildren Josh (Brittany) Ramirez, Jordan (Katlin) Ramirez, and Colin Millard; mother and step-father Janet (Dexter) McNeff; sisters Sue (Pete) Mathewson, Becky (Perry) Branch; brothers John (Kareen) Millard, and Jay Millard; step brothers Randy (Shirley) McNeff, and Lynn McNeff; step sister Tina (Dan Hoon) Follmer. He is also survived by sisters-in-law Sue (Rick) Bloomer and Linda (Mike) Lenhart; aunt Mary Jane Reed; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
