John Baros, 92, of Pueblo, CO, passed away, Monday, July 25, 2016. John was born December 29, 1923 in Villanueva, NM to Juanita and Narciso Baros. He serviced in the Army during World War II. On April 4, 1949 he married Lela Sawa. John was employed at CF&I blast furnace until his retirement. John is survived by his beautiful wife, Lela and 8 children JoAnn Villanueva (Robert), Margarita Martinez (John), Daniel Baros (Cathe), Patricia Espinosa, Lawrence Baros (Chris), Fred Baros (Terri), Raymond Baros (Barbara), Juanita Morgan (Adoph) ; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Viewing Friday, July 29, 5-7 pm followed by a Rosary at 7p.m. with Funeral Mass Saturday, July 30 at 1p.m. all services to be held at St. Anne’s Catholic Church 2701 East 12th St., Pueblo, CO 81001, Pastor Mark Plewka will be officiating. Interment to follow at Imperial Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Sangre de Cristo Hospice & Palliative Care.
