John V. Distefano, 89, of Pueblo, Colorado, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019 at his home. Services will be held on Friday, February 1, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Pueblo, Colorado. A Korean War Veteran, John served in the 23rd infantry, 2nd division. He was self employed as a custom home builder, retiring at the age 76. Those left to honor his memory include his wife of 64 years, Virginia, his children Deanna Thompson (Jerry) of Parker, CO., Don Distefano (Sally) of Peyton, CO., Mike Distefano of Parker, CO., 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, brother, Tom Distefano (Arlene) of Omaha, Nebr., sister in law, Carol Gould of Overland Park, Kansas, 9 nieces and 3 nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tommaso & Salvatrice Distefano, his sister Rose Jorgensen, brother in laws, Clarence Jorgensen, Tom Kurzak and Jack Gould, nephew Bob Jorgensen.
