

John B. Grande, age 86, passed away at his home on April 15, 2023. He was born in Pueblo on August 31, 1936, to Juan and Agnes Grande. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his sisters, Ann (John) Yengich, Josephine (Raymond) Krasovic, brother-in-law, Matthew Glavich, his nephews Donald and John Yengich and niece, Barbara Burkhart. John is survived by two of his four siblings, Agnes Glavich and Anthony (Florence) Grande as well as his nieces, Judy Yengich, Diane Slaten, Patty Martin, Susan Warmack, Carol Chavez, Mary Kay Bregar, Marian Pechek, Laura Grande, Andrea Garnhart and RaeAnna Tucker. He is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews, godchildren and good friend, Marco Salinas.
John was a graduate of Pueblo Catholic High School and enlisted in the United States Navy in May, 1956. He was honorably discharged and returned to Pueblo to take care of his mother for the next 35 years. He was employed by and retired from the Pueblo Army Depot. John was a founding Charter Member of the Knights of Columbus at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. He volunteered in many capacities, was an avid bowler and enjoyed fishing, gardening and playing the piano. John was truly devoted to his family, his church and his friends.
