Juan Antonio (Tony) Garcia, 91, entered into the presence of the Lord on October 27, 2014. Tony was born in 1923 in Model, Colorado to Florencio and Beatrice. Tony proudly served in the US Navy in WWII and married his beloved wife Lucy. He is survived by sons – John (Patti), Phillip (Debra), Michael and Robert (Val); his brother Richard, sister Mary, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Tony joyfully worked to provide a living for his family. Through the years, he welcomed friends and family into his home as if they were his own, and while he was not a rich man, he always found a way to give a helping hand. He had a genuine heart for the sick and those in need and used his gift of compassion to comfort countless grieving souls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Leander’s Parish, 9:00 am Saturday with burial at Imperial Gardens immediately following the service.
