Karen Lee Walker, 66, of Pueblo, passed away on February 12, 2025. She was born to Virginia and Frederick Lee Tincher on August 15, 1958. Karen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Warren Walker; her brother, Jerry Tincher; her father, Lee Tincher; her brother-in-law, Harold Lopez; and her sister-in-law, Sue Gant.
Karen is survived by her mother, Virginia Tincher of Pueblo; her sisters, Melodie (Lloyd) Reynolds of Mounds View, MN, and Cynthia Tincher of Pueblo; her brothers, Rick (Gaby) Tincher of Rostal, Germany, Robert (Jennifer) Tincher of Grants Pass, OR, and Lee Jr. (Amandea) Tincher of Beaufort, SC; as well as her stepchildren, Michael (Daren) Walker of Amarillo, TX, Kenny (Nicole) Walker of Pueblo West, Debi (Eric) Shafer of Greer, SC, and Barbara (Karl) Panunzi of Castle Rock, CO. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Rita (Buster) Fawkes of Pueblo; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Karen was deeply loved by her family, many friends, close cousins, nieces, nephews, and neighbors. She was a proud graduate of Pueblo Community College and retired after many years of service with the Pueblo Judicial System. In addition to her career, Karen was known for her passion for cooking, baking, gardening, and caring for her pets.
She was a gentle and kind soul, always giving her best to family, friends, and anyone in need, without a second thought for herself. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the charity of your choice. Visitation will be available Thursday, February 20, from 4:00PM to 8:00PM and a celebration of Karen's life will be held on Friday, February 21st, at 1:00 PM both at Imperial Funeral Home, Pueblo. A reception will follow the graveside services.
