

Kathleen “Toots” Starcevich, 89, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022. She was born October 8, 1932. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, John. Survived by her daughters, Joan Martinelli, Bernadette (Dan) Spinuzzi, Christine (Steve) Doan; grandson Dr. Daniel J. Spinuzzi; granddaughters, Alyssa (Kevin) Tate and Courtney Mascarenas; great-grandchildren (her “little munchkins”) Lillian Kathleen and William Tate; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and special, lifelong friend, Nancy Krall. Preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Frances Hiza; mother and father-in-laws Christina (Joe) Bradish and John Starcevich; son-in-law Joseph Martinelli; brother Stephen K. (Jeanette) Hiza; sisters-in-law Olga (Joseph) Mohar, Elsie (Milan) Medonich. Kathleen was a lifelong member of St Mary Help of Christian Catholic Church and a member of the Slovenian Women’s Association, Branch #3. In years past, she worked at the ELKS lodge, and was co-owner of Foxy Fashions. Above all, Kathleen enjoyed spending time with her loving family. She will be dearly missed by all. There will be no viewing. Funeral Mass, 2 pm Friday, February 4, 2022 at St Mary Help of Christian Church, 217 E. Mesa, Pueblo CO. Entombment will follow at Imperial Memorial Gardens, inside the Chapel of Angels Mausoleum 5450 Hwy 78 Pueblo, CO. In lieu of flowers and food, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary Help of Christian Catholic Church
