

Landon Wayne Duros, 49, passed away October 12, 2015. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Trevor Duros; paternal father, Robert Pose; grandparents, Bill and Evelyn Mikulecky, Lee and Betty Pose, and Andrew and Goldie Duros.He is survived by his son, Christopher Duros of Iowa; mom and dad, Dave and Darla Duros of Pueblo, CO; sister, Stacey Hodges of Phoenix, AZ; grandmother, Helen Philipp of Cedar Rapids, IA; also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Landon was born in Cedar Rapids, IA, on August 8, 1966. He spent his youth playing with his many friends at Franklin Field and Creek. He moved to Albuquerque, NM, in 1979 with his family. Landon was a big “Star Wars” fan, and constructed a life size replica of R2D2 with his closest friend. While in high school, he was nominated two years in a row by his drama teacher to be included in the publication “Who’s Who Among American High School Students.” Landon had a winning personality which earned him many admirers and friends. After moving to Cedar Rapids, IA, in the early 1990’s, he soon started his own carpet installation business as an independent contractor. He moved to Pueblo, CO, last year; and worked at Lowe’s.
