

Leslie LaBar, went on his eternal hunt on November 5, 2010. Born January 8, 1917 in New York State and moved to Pueblo in 1955. Les was preceded in death by his parents, Mable and Earl LaBar; brothers, Donald and Leo LaBar; sister, Ardia LaBar and in-laws Zelma and William Yalotz Sr. He is survived by his wife, Zelma LaBar; daughters Veronica LaPoint and Tanya Frazier; grandchildren DeeDee Henson (Casey Sanchez), Gloria (Patrick Van Meter) Henson, Brad (Karen) LaPoint, Bryan (LuAnne0 LaPoint, Carmen (James) Snyder and Bridget LaPoint; great-grandchildren Cody Soder, Jessica and Paige Naranjo, Grace Van Meter, Evan, Blake and Dasha LaPoint; numerous other relatives and friends, including special friend Brad (Shirley) Steward. Les owned and operated Allied Roofers from 1957 until his retirement. He especially enjoyed the Colorado Mountains and over the years, spent most of his free time fishing, hunting, camping and prospecting. His favorite passion was big game hunting, which he actively enjoyed thru age 92 thanks to his hunting partners and family members Bill, John and JJ Yalotz. He was very devoted to his wife and family and will be dearly missed by them all. Viewing, Sunday 3-6pm with Rosary at 6:00 both at Imperial Funeral Home. Funeral Mass, Monday 10:00 an, Shrine of St. Therese, interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens. Family will receive guests at the St. Joseph’s room at the Shrine of St. Therese following the burial.
