Lillian Roberta King

Lillian Roberta King, born on March 4th, 1929, in Pueblo, Colorado, passed away February 9, 2026, at the age of 96. A committal service will be held at Imperial Memorial Gardens, located at 5450 Highway 78 in Pueblo, Colorado 81005. The service is scheduled for February 18, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm.

Lillian shared 60 years of marriage with her husband Cecil Raymond King (deceased). Lillian was the daughter of Clifford Shepler and Sarah (Evans) Shepler. Lillian had two loving sisters, Margaret Villers and Dorothy Wilker (also deceased).

Lillian’s four children are Raymond King, Bonnie Abbate (deceased), Rebecca Alber and Robert King. Lillian is also survived by countless loved ones including her grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews. The family also wishes to send a heartfelt thanks to Lillian’s two aides, Anna and Lianne, for their loving care during the final chapter of Lillian’s life.

Lillian shared many passions and talents with her family and friends to include her floral work as a wedding consultant, cake decorating, her passion for sewing for family members and friends, and her love for knitting and crocheting.

Lillian lived a long and productive life and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A family memorial will be held at a later date and time, to be announced.
