Lola was born on September 4, 1931, to Hunter and Helen (Burbidge) Mason in Fairplay, Colorado. She and her family lived in several places during her childhood, including North Avondale and Loveland, Colorado, and Price, Utah. She was homeschooled due to a heart condition and loved playing the piano and music. Lola worked in retail throughout her life.
She met and married Kenneth Day on February 10, 1950, in Price, Utah. They later moved to Pueblo, Colorado, where their only child, Kenneth Day Jr., was born. After Kenneth’s passing, she later met and married John North. Together, they traveled many places, including Europe, where they visited his family in Romania. John passed away on February 20, 2012.
Lola is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Albert (Doris) and Raymond Mason; sisters, Freda Mason, Dorothy (Leroy) Harvey, Mary (Jim) Morgan, and Edna (Dave) Slavin; husbands, Kenneth Day and John North; and her son, Kenneth Day Jr.
She is survived by one brother, Harry (Shirley) Mason; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Funeral Service will be at 2 PM on Friday, August 22, 2025 at Imperial Funeral Home.
